Role Overview:

As part of the team, you’ll play a crucial role in developing the Protolabs Network Control Hub—a centralized admin portal designed to streamline operations and oversee internal user activities.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the Full-stack Engineer to build foundational systems for the Protolabs Network Control Hub.
- Develop APIs, design data models, maintain backend code, and scale production systems.
- Approach problems with curiosity and a mindset to build the best product.
- Own features end-to-end, working cross-functionally with stakeholders to find elegant solutions.
- Design and implement solutions, collaborating with engineers from your team and cross-team projects.
- Maintain product quality by following best practices and implementing testing strategies.
- Improve the developer experience by implementing tools or practices to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with our Backend guild to set standards and enhance Backend systems.
What It Takes:
- 3+ years of experience building web applications and backend services.
- Experience in a full-stack environment.
- Strong coding skills with Python or similar languages.
- Solid understanding of designing, developing, testing, and monitoring production backend systems.
- Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or similar.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other relevant technologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Skills:
- Working knowledge of NodeJS.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices و CI/CD environments.
- Understanding of RabbitMQ, Event-Based Architecture.
- Familiarity with Frontend frameworks like Angular.
