Europe (Germany), USA, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam (local resident preferred)

Job Overview:

As a Local Market Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving Elite’s business growth in the assigned region, focusing on mold and injection molding solutions for automotive, medical, electronics, and industrial sectors. You’ll bridge global expertise with local market needs, from market analysis to client acquisition and project closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth local market research: Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, customer pain points, and policy dynamics (e.g., trade regulations, compliance standards) to identify business opportunities.
  • Develop and expand client base: Proactively prospect and engage potential clients (manufacturers, product developers, engineering firms) through direct outreach, industry events, and local partnerships.
  • Manage end-to-end client communication: Understand customer requirements (product design, volume, compliance, lead time), provide tailored solutions (e.g., pre-mold prototyping, low-volume silicone molding, mass-production molds), and deliver professional sales presentations/proposals.
  • Oversee project follow-up: Coordinate with Elite’s global engineering and production teams to ensure project progress aligns with client expectations, track order fulfillment, and resolve any sales-related issues during execution.
  • Maintain long-term client relationships: Conduct regular check-ins, gather feedback, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities (e.g., training services, after-sales support), and ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Achieve sales targets: Develop and execute regional sales plans to meet revenue and growth objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in the mold, injection molding, precision manufacturing, or automotive/medical/electronics industry (local market experience is mandatory).
  • Deep understanding of local market dynamics: Familiar with regional manufacturing trends, customer preferences, and compliance requirements (e.g., CE, FDA, IATF 16949, ISO 13485).
  • Strong client communication and negotiation skills: Ability to build trust with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and close deals independently.
  • Technical literacy: Basic knowledge of mold design, injection molding processes, or rapid prototyping (3D printing, silicone molding) is a plus.
  • Fluent in local language (e.g., German for Europe, English for USA, Malay/Thai/Vietnamese for Southeast Asia) and professional English (written & spoken) for global team collaboration.
  • Proactive, result-driven, and able to work independently with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and industry events.
