Transparent Backplate
Made from high – quality PC, the 2 – 3mm transparent backplate offers unparalleled clarity, showcasing your phone’s original design. PC’s excellent drop and heat resistance ensure the case remains intact even in harsh conditions, like being left in a sun – baked car. A special design note on the back plate is all surface need to be nanodotted surface,so that the phone donot get sauction on the phonecase. It is helpful for the phonecase teel off.
The nanodot pattern must be machined into the tool according to the following dimensions! The following approx dimensions are for reference!
- Vertical spacing: ~0,46 mm
- Horizontal spacing: ~0,46 mm
- Dot diameter: ~0,13-0,14 mm
- Dot depth: ~0,03-0,05 mm
Gate location and size
- The following dam type and placement are preferred. Deviations are possible upon request! The most important aspect is that it must be removable with automatic cutting. It is a plus if it can be broken by hand, but this is not strictly necessary.
- Depending on the plate thickness, the preferred gate side is 14mm X 1,2 mm.
Vacuum Suction
To fix the backplate in the mold until the co-molding happens we would like to use vacuum suction! Must not leave any remaining mark!
Enveloping Frame
The frame tool encloses the backplate, and the manufacturing process is done using over-molding injection technology!

The special points for the frame injection mould is the ejection and injection runner. As we need automatic production for the 3 plate cold runner, the runner also elastic.
The difficult for the frame mould is the split line always have strict requirements for top brand. The plastic frame have at least 4sliders, some time many brand have 8 sliders from direction. All slider have to be make mirror polish with special design jig,so that there is no step before the texture.

The dropX tool encloses the backplate + frame, and the manufacturing process is done using over-molding injection technology!

CMF section of FULL-SHOCK dropX
The surface structure of the dropX shock-resistant layer depends on the type of Full-Shock case. Polished white dropX TPE layer is used for matte frames. However, this may vary occasionally. In all cases, it is necessary to check the attached specific CMF in detail.
