Job Location:
Europe (Germany), USA, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam (local resident preferred)
Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced Project Managers to oversee regional client projects, ensuring seamless coordination between local customers and Elite’s global design, manufacturing, and commissioning teams. The role requires deep expertise in mold and injection molding processes to effectively translate client needs into actionable plans and deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for local clients: Manage project communication, align on requirements (technical specifications, compliance standards, delivery timelines), and provide regular progress updates.
- Lead project planning and execution: Develop detailed project plans (including design validation, mold manufacturing, prototyping, commissioning), allocate resources, and monitor milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
- Technical coordination: Collaborate with Elite’s engineering team to review design feasibility, resolve technical issues (e.g., mold optimization, material selection), and ensure compliance with local standards (e.g., REACH for Europe, ANVISA for Brazil, Rosstandart for Russia).
- Client requirement management: Validate and document customer needs, conduct design reviews with clients, and manage change requests (if any) with clear communication and impact assessment (time, cost, quality).
- Quality and risk control: Implement quality checks throughout the project lifecycle, identify potential risks (e.g., supply delays, technical bottlenecks), and develop mitigation plans to ensure project success.
- Post-delivery support: Coordinate on-site commissioning, training, and after-sales service, gather client feedback, and drive continuous improvement for future projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mold Design, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5–10 years of project management experience in the mold manufacturing, injection molding, or precision engineering industry (experience with cross-border projects is highly preferred).
- Deep technical expertise: Proficient in mold design principles, injection molding processes, and rapid prototyping technologies (3D printing, silicone molding, CNC machining); familiar with industry standards (IATF 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 14001) and local compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end projects: From client requirement gathering to delivery, with a focus on quality, on-time completion, and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills: Ability to bridge technical teams (global) and non-technical clients (local), with fluent local language and professional English (written & spoken).
- Project management skills: Familiar with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall); strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Customer-centric mindset: Ability to anticipate client needs, resolve issues proactively, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Experience in automotive, medical, or consumer electronics sectors is a significant plus.
